BOOKING CREDITS#703

Customers buy credits in one package. Later they can book several sessions, and use the credits they have in their account, until the credits are finished.
This way you can encourage the customer to buy for example 10 sessions at once, and he can later book them one by one at his own pace, using his already paid credits.

But that’s already a feature, packages.

Yes please. So we can add and delete credits also to customers.
And credits can be used for differents services.
Exemple:
10 credits bought

  • 1 class online cost 2 credits
  • 1 class presentiel 3 credits

Really more simple and usefull for small company as individual teachers and practitioners wellness.

One interesting use-case for a tutoring/training business:

A credit system would allow learners to get access to course materials AND receive credits for booking private lessons at the same time with a SINGLE payment (through a membership or cart app + triggers). This way, they would get access to everything they need and wouldn’t have to open their wallet again to purchase tutoring hours through WP-Amelia after purchasing a membership or course.

And as Raphael mentioned above, different services / booking types could would cost different amounts of credits. This would make the system really flexible as learners could decide how to spend those credits as they see fit. For example, they might choose to spend 2 credits for private sessions only once a week or instead, opt to spend only 1 credit for group sessions twice a week. The choice would be theirs.

Even for purchases solely made via WP-Amelia, a credit system would allow customers the flexibility to decide the type of service or service duration that they want long after having made their payment.

By separating payments and bookings, we would allow our customers to top-up their accounts and spend their credits over time as they see fit with all the convenience and potential savings this would entail.
