Integrate SMS with own phone#692

My own mobile contract allows unlimited texts. Can Amelia send texts via my own phone rather than us having to pay for each text message.

Another Amelia user here - my guess is this would likely be against your cell provider’s contract for “unlimited texts”. The “unlimited” feature usually is restricted, such as if you intend to use your “unlimited” allowance for business purposes. And this assuming that such a thing is even technically feasible.

Now to keep SMS costs down for Amelia - I’ve got my set to only send 2 texts per booking. It sends one text reminder 24 hours before their appt and then another 2 hours before. That’s it. No texts to the employee (me). All other notifications are sent via emails. So it costs me (in the US), about $0.03 per booking - which is pretty dang cheap.

I should have made it clear, that it is a business mobile that I am referring to, not a personal one. I use other software that uses the company mobile to send texts, so I believe it is technically feasible.
