first of all, thank you for the great plugin. Amelia is very powerful and has helped us streamline our booking process significantly.
I would like to request a feature that would be extremely valuable for many service-based businesses:
Feature request: Different pricing for Adults and Children + service fee per person
Currently, Amelia allows pricing per service or per employee, but there is no native option to differentiate pricing based on participant type (e.g. Adult vs Child).
Desired functionality
Ability to define different prices per person category, for example:
Adult: 25 €
Child: 15 €
Customer selects number of Adults and Children during booking.
Ability to define a fixed service fee per person that is paid online during booking, for example:
Service fee per person: 2 €
Remaining amount can be paid on site
Example use cases
This feature would be very useful for businesses such as:
workshops
guided tours
courses
outdoor activities
family events
sports classes
educational programs
At the moment, this can only be solved with workarounds (e.g. separate services or extras), which makes the booking process more complex and less user-friendly.
Benefit
Implementing pricing per participant type with a fixed service fee per person would:
improve user experience
reduce setup complexity
increase flexibility for many industries
allow partial online payments per attendee
reduce need for workarounds
I believe this feature would benefit many Amelia users and make the plugin even more competitive.
