Calendar List View with available dates only#21

An option to show a calendar with only available dates for those who only have a small number of available bookings over a period of a year.

Please make calendar view for existing bookings as well! This is a common sense to have a calendar view for bookings. I don’t know why Amelia is not doing the calendar view for bookings, but they do for Events.

Amelia is a booking plugin, thats what you said on the website. Not event plugin.

When you have only a few available services, it should be easy to provide a calendar that shows when then next is hairdresser avaialbe -

How is that a solution to pay for an extra 70€ to 400€ for another plugin to have a basic feature Amelia should have from the very beggining?

Hi, That’s a valid suggestion.
On the front end calendar, it shows full month (regardless of availability or unavailability of the dates)

It’d be great, If there is a way to only show let’ say current week or current and next week’s dates only with bigger tiles preferably.

There is no reason to show previous dates to the use, Since they can’t book in the past. and in our case we don’t allow booking beyond 2 weeks in future.

Regarding Alexander’s request for ideas on view… show a calendar for availability for employee and service. Week view with ability to scroll forward a set number of weeks (0 to however many you are wanting to show).

This is really needed, that’s what block me for buying Amelia. When an employee has special days organization (like doctors in special locations or non regular planning) , it is impossible to have a global view of his planning.
So he can’t give easily an appointment to a person in front of him. Just unbelievable. Hope you do this quickly.
Here is a use case : an employee has unregular planning so he has to use Special Days. When a client comes to see him and he has to give him an other appointment (follow up appointments) and that happens frequently, the employee can tell the client a date to book. By exemple, a doctor says to a client to come back in 3 or 6 months, he doesn’t have a global view on his planning.
The doctor won’t go through the web site as it going to take to much time for him filling the form. He wants to add the new appointment directly on his planning.
And sometimes even he would add the appointment out of the “special days” free slots if they are all booked. To do this the employee needs to have a global look of his “special days” schedule and on superposition the booked appointments. That’s what all the booking platforms ( Calendly, Doctolib, etc…) offer.
I hope I have been clear enough.

Our group bookings are used for classes - as only for bookings we can assign price plans. A calender view to show available slots would be great. Using the backend calender only booked slots are shown.

this is a must, customers in certatin business dont want to choose an employee or service first, but an available time first. so a calendar view , where they can choose a date first is a must

This is such a mandatory feature that I can not believe it is still not delivered. On the end of a month you see all previous days of the month that are already bygone and can not be booked anymore. 80% of the screen is useless for the user because the dates are in the past.

The booking calendar must always start on the present day to make it as easy as possible for the customers to book appointments.

Also there should not be any visual distinction between the current month and the next. From a customer perspective it doesn’t matter when the month changes. The customer wants to book the next best appointment.

From a marketing perspective Amelia is doing more to avoid customer bookings than it helps. It could be so much easier with a few simple tweaks. I would call it basics.
