QR code and backend for customer check in#1284

C

It is good to implement a QR code check-in for customers to scan or employees to scan the customer QR code for attendance. And also, Amelia Manager can mark attendance for the walk-in customers too.

For owners, it is good to have all the attendance records to avoid some customers might ask bank for chargeback request if they have attanded the appointment.

If a QR code is too complex, here’s a simpler alternative: A simple list of all scheduled activities for the day is sent every day to a specific employee email. In the email, each row displays: customer name, appointment time, employee, resources needed (such as Room 5), and 2 links: “Mark as NO SHOW” and “Mark as Checked In”. Clicking the link sends a hook without need to log in and manually do this. That way the main receptionist or each individual employee can just have that list on their ipad and click links (only needing to login to for complex situations).

This could merge the NO SHOW feature https://features.wpamelia.com/1801

I thought this was planned when you spoke on the last YouTube Live in March/April?
